Description

It is vital to prepare children to recognize and trust community helpers who are trained to serve & protect like firefighters, doctors, dentists, and the police. Students will be able to learn about different community helpers that work to provide service to others. With this activity, kids will be able to identify different tools which are used by each of the 8 community helpers which includes - Doctor, Policeman, dentist, construction worker, chef, vet, fire fighter and mail carrier. Kids need to pick a cutout and identify which community helper uses that and place it on the respective mats. The set has 48 cutouts of equipment used by different community helpers. At the back of each mat is simple riddles which the parents can ask the child.
